Overview

Every pipeline, vessel, valve and boiler has one question that must be answered before it enters service: will it hold pressure? The Hydro Testing Pump exists to answer that question safely, precisely and repeatably. It raises the test piece to a controlled hydrostatic pressure, holds it there while joints, welds and seals are inspected, and gives your team the confidence, and the evidence, that the asset is sound before product, steam or gas ever flows through it.

Hydrostatic testing with water is the standard method across industry for good reason: water is nearly incompressible, so a failure during test releases little stored energy compared with pneumatic testing. The right pump makes the method practical: steady pressure raise, fine control near the target, and stable hold at test pressure.

How it works

The pump draws clean water and delivers it into the sealed test piece, raising internal pressure in a controlled manner. Pressure is monitored on the gauge as it climbs to the specified test value, then held for the inspection period. A pressure drop points to a leak; a steady gauge is the pass your inspection records need. Automatic operation keeps the raise smooth and repeatable, test after test.
