Overview

Airborne dust is the most visible problem an industrial site has. It settles on everything, wears machinery ahead of its time, drifts into neighbouring areas, and above all it is what your workforce breathes. The Dust Suppression System attacks the problem at its source: a fine, engineered water mist that captures dust particles in the air and at the point of generation, binding them and bringing them down before they spread.

The principle is precise, not brute force. Droplets must be small enough to collide with and capture fine dust rather than push it aside, and delivered where dust is actually generated: at the crusher mouth, the conveyor transfer point, the tipping area, the stockpile face. The system, built in stainless steel with a 10 HP drive and semi automatic operation, is engineered to deliver exactly that: the right droplet, in the right place, at the right rate.

How mist suppression works

High pressure water forced through fine misting nozzles atomises into droplets sized to interact with airborne dust. When a droplet meets a dust particle, the particle is captured and weighted down. Because the water is delivered as mist rather than spray, suppression is achieved with a fraction of the water a hose or sprinkler would use, and without turning the working area to mud or soaking the material being handled.
