Industrial Fog Cannon

Overview

Some dust problems are too big for fixed nozzles. Stockyards, open material handling areas and large loading yards generate dust across wide, changing spaces where piped suppression cannot reach. The Industrial Fog Cannon answers with range and coverage: a powerful directional fan drives a dense fog from its 8 nozzle misting head up to 50 metres, blanketing airborne dust across distances no fixed system can match.

Where a fixed dust suppression network defends known points, the fog cannon patrols territory. Aim it at the working face, the tipping area, or downwind of the dust source, and it throws a controlled fog exactly where the problem is today, then moves when the problem moves tomorrow.

How it works

High pressure water is atomised through the ring of fine misting nozzles at the mouth of the fan. The airstream carries the fog outward in a long, adjustable throw, distributing capture sized droplets through the dust laden air. Airborne particles are captured and brought down across the entire fog path, not just at a single point, with adjustable elevation spreading coverage across the working area.

Coverage without waterlogging

Because the water is delivered as fog rather than spray, the cannon suppresses dust across a wide area while putting down remarkably little water per square metre. Yards stay workable, material moisture stays low, and water consumption stays far below what hoses and sprinklers would demand for a fraction of the coverage.
